Dustin Maxwell Brooklyn Yoga Teacher

Dustin Maxwell

Partner and Point of Transition: Somatic Death Cafe Teacher

Dustin Maxwell is a 500-hour experienced, registered yoga teacher (ERYT 500) and continuing education provider (YACEP). He has been guiding yoga since 2010 and has taught over 4,000 classes. He is also a dancer, Thai yoga bodyworker, meditator, and eastern philosophile. This eclectic knowledge and experience fluidly and intuitively make their way into his yoga classes while honoring and applying the root intentions of yoga as a spiritual practice through asana, bandha, mudra, pranayama, and meditation. Dusitn’s primary intentions are to help people step fully into their bodies with unconditional friendliness, to know themselves fearlessly, and to cultivate witness consciousness – that inner observer who remains unaffected and unconditionally loving. He has studied with awakened teachers from all over the country. In honor of his teachers and of the Teacher in All Things, he is grateful for the opportunity to facilitate practitioners’ movement toward freedom and fulfillment at Ananda Shala Healing.
